ABA Therapeutics, founded in 2017 by experienced BCBA Donna-jo “Dj” Bateman, is a premier provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for early Autism intervention in Woburn, MA. Our dedicated team of skilled Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) offers individualized, one-on-one therapy and peer-based social opportunities in a nurturing environment. Committed to fostering positive outcomes through evidence-based practices, ABA Therapeutics is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and their families. Join us at our private center where every child’s potential is nurtured and celebrated.
Enrolling with ABA Therapeutics starts with completing our intake packet. Our clinical team can provide additional program information prior to completing intake forms. If needed, contact us through our contact page to inquire. Your child will need to have a formal ASD diagnosis to complete the intake step of enrollment. Tours of the center are conducted after intake paperwork is received. Following the tour, your family will have time to decide if our program is the right fit. After you confirm enrollment an ABA assessment will be scheduled.
Following intake, an assessment will be scheduled with our clinical team to take place in-home. Even though our program is primarily center-based, our clinical team recommended an initial in-home assessment to build family rapport and have a frame of reference for future home behavior communication. ABA T only conducts intake & assessment when our clinical team can ensure direct sessions can begin in a timely manner. ABA T will not place your family on a waitlist after intake or assessment.
Your child will be assigned 1-3 RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians) who will be trained directly to work with your child. The amount of RBTs assigned to your child depends on the frequency of the child’s sessions. RBTs are 1:1 with each child and trained to fade in & out during any peer group activities to best support each child’s needs and promote independence. During your child’s assessment, you will work with the clinical team to decide on a session start date and formulate a consistent session schedule. Full-time treatment is defined as M-F 8:30-3:00, with extended day options. After-school treatment is defined as T/W/Th 3:00-5:30.
Note: All enrollment inquiries will be responded to in September, 2024 following ABA summer programming
